Kalli was dressed in her typical conservative off duty clothing that mostly consisted of some cargo pants and an open long sleeve shirt over some kind of undershirt. It was a baggy clothes look, but it suited her. It was rare for Kalli to not be doing something work related, even on her off time. The only thing that was the clear indicator was that her hair wasn't in a ponytail for once.
As she entered, she glanced around and noticed Carley. On a mission, Kalli was more bold and in her element, but in social situations, she was quite the opposite. Thus, it was quite a thing for her to give a small smile and a half wave in Carley's direction as she headed over to a replicator on the wall. Never one to want to bother the wait staff if she didn't need to, she pulled out a chip from a pocket, slipped it into a slot and after a couple of touches on the menu, a plate of food appeared followed by a steaming cup of something. The food was a mixture of fruit and cheese with some bread.
Kalli quietly took her snacks and moved to one of the favored spots by a window to enjoy the contemplative view. Such spots were almost always the favorites amongst the crew. The only thing that kept some open on this ship was the fact that on such a large ship, there were a number of special lounges for taking advantage of such sights. You could even reserve special rooms for romantic dinners and such, given that many people had windowless quarters. A ship this size often had a false window that projected an image of the outside of the ship, but it just wasn't the same for many people.
Leaning back in her chair, Kalli nibbled at her snacks. She especially liked to take a bite of a grape and follow it with a bite of the cheese. It was a strong contrast to the occasional sip of her mug of hot chocolate that would remain at the perfect temperature while she stared out at the vastness of space.
