[Miller to Bridge, the second probe has deployed without any issues. However according to the telemetry that it's sending back, it's picking up a ship about 3000km inside the probe's outer range]
Tyra tipped her head slightly, assessing that piece of information as her eyes shifted to her console to see the information for herself.
"Captain," Grant said. "Recommend we go to Yellow Alert until we can determine ship's origin."
The redhead's nose crinkled slightly as she considered what this likely was. Her experience told her it was most likely smuggling activity or something else illicit. It was certainly a tiny burst of excitement in an otherwise dry mission objective.
"Agreed. Take us to Yellow Alert. Helm, begin easing us further into the nebula to intercept. I want to know everything there is to know about that ship ASAP."
"And helm, how far off an intercept course is the third drop point for the probe? I'd like to know what else might be lurking back there if possible..."
