Julia had been in her own little world with Surik and both animals. Troy hadn't realized that someone came up to them and spoke to her. She snapped out of her own little world and turned to see who it was before answering them.
"Oh, hi, I am Julia, a counselor and medical officer on the Aquila. Yes these two are friendly. This Jack Russell Terrier is Spike and this Savannah is Dot. They are more of working animals then pets, and they know when they are working and when they are not working. It is alright to pet them cause they love getting attention since they are off the clock just like I am." Troy answered back with a smile of her own.
Troy has to realize that she can't be in her own little world especially when someone comes up to her. She actually enjoys making new friends even if they are on a different ship than her.
