Approaching the Acadamy's main auditorium, she felt an overwhelming sense of anxiety. She felt a comfort in knowing she wasn't the only one feeling this way. Standing in front of the formidable door, she stilled her mind and pinned her copper/blonde hair back, and took a deep calming breath.
Entering the space, she noticed how the sunrise illuminated the room in a golden hue. She saw a somewhat familiar face that was around the Academy. She had an inviting smile, and looked like she was deep in thought.
"Here I go," she said to herself walking up to the desk.
After standing in line, going over diseases and surgical procedures in her head, it was her turn. She heard a authoritative yet calm "Next" that brought her back to reality.
Throwing her shoulders back she approached the desk, and announced, "Cadet Amethyst Bremner, reporting for assignment, Sir!" She knew she was to overzealous in her approach, but she stood there at attention, waiting for a response.
