Carol stayed active on the sensors at the back of the bridge, but at the moment, she felt caught up in the chase. She couldn’t help but appreciate the thrill the young officer at help was probably feeling. Nothing like that. Go get’em Midshipman.
The Captain was cool as a cucumber as the ship was basked in a red glow. Mara, the ship’s new security head sat down at an empty console. She couldn’t help but take interest in what Mara was up to. It didn’t take long for her to know though as Mara sought some help.
“Got’cha,” Carol said in her typical informality, making her way to the station Mara manned. “Let’s do some reconfiguring here…” Carol worked with Mara in adjusting sensors used to scan the vessel, starting with a few small tweaks first. “Always liked a good game of hide and seek. Let’s see what we can find…”
