The first post you make on your assigned ship is the crew's first impression of your character and your writing. I didn't get to learn a lot from your character as there were no inner thoughts and little use of sensory descriptors. What I mean with that, I encourage you to think about the different senses your cadet is experiencing. What does the ship smell like? What are the colors of the hallway, the bridge, etc.? How does Amethyst feel in the moment?  Are any of the things she's experiencing or feeling remind her of a memory?
