==Maxas-Darl & Grant==
As the Artemis closed the distance, the helm did a fine job of keeping the qoH well within range. Keeping approximately 10 km off her port and astern, tactical was able to get a clear shot targetting first the shields, and the avenue was open to go after shields cleanly from this position.
The adjustments made helped, as did keeping so close to the enemy, and Grant scored a pair of direct hits in quick succession, dropping the Klingon ship's shields quickly.

The records were able to find a match to this class of freighter, showing where the bridge and engine rooms were, along with some other critical nodes. However, it wasn't entirely helpful, as the class had a very configurable cargo space, capable of handling all manner of goods, so it would be unknown what the ship would look like just from the file records.
As for the qoH herself, it was unknown what her current cargo was. The records for her registry were within the Federation database, but specifics would have to be requested from Arcturus IV proper, which would take longer than feasible in the current situation.
As they drew within engagement range, sensors were able to get a better scan on the qoH and some of the information popped up. There were a dozen lifesigns currently registering on the ship, all Klingon. Half of them were distributed between the bridge and engine room, while the remainder were running through the cargo area. While the cargo itself couldn't be determined, it appeared to be inorganic, and didn't appear to be anything volatile.
