The trio joined together in the toast, the warmth of the moment a palpable thing to the younger of the three.
She paused and allowed the moment the time it sought to really sink in. During that time her large teal eyes studied each of the women at the table, fellow gingers, and then she turned her attention to the others in the lounge. Robin, Grant, the unknown Ensign and others - all peers sharing some aspect of the same dream that drove her to join Starfleet and seek out the stars.
“The gym and the holodeck are good. A little rock climbing or the Klingon calisthenics program if you need something more visceral. That’s if it is still on the list.” Lucy mentioned, circling back to Hally's earlier question.
"Oh! I love to work out. My Dad is a fitness fiend. I..." her thought trailed as her grandmother's admonishments regarding her habit of oversharing crept through her mind, "I uhm, had some health issues as a child..." the fair freckled skin of her cheeks blushed ever so slightly, "Bajoran and Trill biology is generally compatible, except when it isn't...." she offered a chuckle, hoping that the information wasn't a discomfort to her new human companions, "and physical fitness did more to help me overcome those issues than any Doctor I ever saw on Trill." She straightened in her seat and placed her hands in her lap before squinching her eyes and grinning the mischievous smile that had escaped more than once already, "I have to say though, Klingon style calisthenics definitely sound... vigorous..."
