Once Tyra was certain that no blows would be thrown between her COS and her advisor, her blue eyes shifted back to the screen to watch this mismatched battle play out. She'd give the Klingon vessel points for effort and spunk but the fact of the matter was the battle couldn't have been more one sided if they'd tried. Their disruptors were barely scratching the paint and Tyra had to wonder if they were reconsidering their tactics on running.
"The goH's engines and weapons have been disabled, Captain," Grant reported.
"Good work," she called out to the younger officer, her blue eyes shifting between the screen and her console in assessment. It was her first officer that spoke next, ordering Omdor to active the tractor beam before the vessel drifted too much further into the nebula.
“Captain, the crew of the qoH are trying to do something with their engines," the young scientist working the bridge noted. "They’re putting too much power into them."
"Of course, they are. Heaven forbid we do this the easy way," she commented dryly.
"Crawford to Givens and Calleja. They're in the process of overloading their engines; if y'all can't get system control ASAP, we might need to pull you back before they blow themselves up."
"Grant, establish a transporter lock on all of our people. If Omdor deems the power surge to be too much, pull them back."

The brunette had paused as Crawford had issued her orders to Calleja, which had unfortunately included Cass. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched the large security chief for any type of reaction but it seemed Calleja had anticipated the orders.
For Cassandra's part, she had hoped such a duty would fall to Jolann but she understood why Crawford had chosen her. While Cassandra had authority and rank, she wasn't in the direct chain of command, whereas Jolann would likely have wanted to take charge, Cassandra could step back and allow Calleja to either thrive or fail, at which point she stepped in. It also helped that Cass had literally built part of her career on this type of assignment.
The brunette sighed as she stood up, knowing she'd need to make a detour on her way which would put her slightly behind everyone else.
