Closing her eyes like she was instructed, Beno could feel what Reyna was talking about. It was almost like Reynas finger was on Benos skin, it was a great understanding of what Beno was talking about. Watching Reyna go to the bathroom so quickly made Beno wonder, what happened there? Beno was sure that time will tell, chances were it was nothing to be alarmed about.
Beno smiled at the thought of getting some cheese cake to take home, plus some strawberries. "Oysters for tonight would be better." Beno had a funny look as she put her hand on her stomach. "This is new." Beno put her other hand right on his hand, her grip was a little on the tight side. Alex started to feel something he couldn't explain, but knew and trusted the source.
As both closed their eyes at the same time, when they opened them the restaurant was replaced by a dark cave, in the middle of a room was a pool of milky white water. The steam from the water suggested it was heated, the cave itself wasn't bad for temperature. It took a few seconds for anything to happen until the water started to ripple, at first the top of the head could be seen and rising. Before long a Beno came out in her early twenties and started to walk towards them. She was wearing a first year Science Cadet uniform, she had a million dollar smile giving a quick wink. Beno looked over at Alex still holding his hand. "What is it I need to remember?" She wasn't clear about what was going on, this kind of thing was rare.
Just after she walked through them, the cave changed to a bar that was popular with Star Fleet Cadets. It was a crowded Friday that Beno started to recognize. "I am here somewhere." She was talking like Alex was there too, not realizing he really was. Looking around the bar Beno found the younger version of herself, in a group of other Science cadets. She was wearing tight leather pants, and Haler top that had a binder effect.
Still Beno was trying to remember what was important about that day, it didn't occur to her until the door opened with a younger Carley walking through it. "Watch this is going to be funny." Beno said to Alex. The younger Beno watched as Carley was approached by an Cadet in an Engineering Cadet Uniform, Carley was uncomfortable looking for an escape. Beno left her small group heading towards them. "You are late." Beno said while getting closer putting her hands on Carley's hips. "This is a big day for us both." She gave her a small kiss.
"What is this big day?" The Other Cadet asked with an odd look.
"The celebration is our first date, it just started." The two hugged for a few seconds before Beno took her by the hand again. "Buy you a beer to put the flames out fly boy."
Just as they were walking by the man grabbed Beno by the arm, but before anything could happen there was another voice. "Is there a problem here?" A taller gentlemen in a Security Cadet Uniform, he put out his arms for them. "Your escort has arrived. Beno and Carley put their arm in his before walking off again. "I am sure there are a few Medical Cadets here that can treat those burns, lets change that order to a scotch I think you need something stronger." Alex would recognize because his son looked almost exactly like him, other than the one eye.
The trio walked through them again and the scene changed again, this time the scene changed to the French Quarter of New Orleans. Beno and Carley were close to the staging ground for the parade, Beno spotted a box with a beautiful costume in it. Beno started getting changed into this costume right there, and when she was changed it was a little tight. The material expanded a little but was a little on the restrictive side, the big fairy wings were translucent with brilliant blue highlights. "Come on its about to start." Another women dressed the same way grabbed Beno by the hand taking her to the float.
"There is something I have to remember about this day, its important... I just can't figure out what it is." Beno was still talking to Alex like he was actually there, still not realizing that somehow he was there too.
